Vice President, Project Manager

Barbara Smith-Bacon is responsible for all development activities at Berkeley’s Worcester Portfolio, and works on new project development initiatives, particularly those involving complicated commercial projects such as Channel Center 7-9 in Boston. She has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, in development, project management, asset management, and law. Barbara is an active volunteer and board member. She is a past President and Treasurer of New England Women in Real Estate, and served as a co-chair of the United Way Real Estate and Building Industry Breakfast. She currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Architectural College, where she serves on the Finance Committee, having previously led a financial management task force for the College. She is a graduate of Colorado College (BA) and Indiana University School of Law (JD) where she was an Editor of the Indiana Law Journal; in addition, she was a Thomas J. Watson Foundation Fellow.
