Vice President, Project Manager

As vice president and project manager, Barbara Smith-Bacon is responsible for overseeing all development initiatives and serves as project lead for the 20.2-acre revitalization of downtown Worcester. Barbara has over 20 years experience in the real estate industry, in development, project management and law. She is a graduate of The Colorado College and was a Thomas J. Watson Foundation Fellow. She graduated with her J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law where she was an Editor of the Indiana Law Journal. Barbara is an active volunteer and board member. She is a past President and Treasurer of New England Women in Real Estate, and served as a co-chair of the 2006 United Way Real Estate and Building Industry Breakfast. Her current volunteer activities include the following: Board of Overseers of the Boston Architectural College, Board of Directors of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau, Advisory Board for the HomeAgain project in Worcester, and Board of Directors for the Friends of Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, MA.
